Infants and Toddlers Can't Wait!
The
period from birth to three years of age is a critical time in a child's
life. Research shows that children grow and develop rapidly during this
period of time and the windows for ealy learning begin at birth. Each
child grows and develops at his or her own pace, but some children need
extra help. This kind of help is called early intervention.
Getting your baby help during the first three years allows him or her
to learn and build new skills that make a difference for a lifetime.
With early identification and intervention, a child has greater
developmental gains and a better outcome. TOTS provides early
intervention services as defined by New Mexico's Family Infant and
Toddler Program.
